Sheet Metal Gauge - general repairs

Guys,

I am starting my body repairs on my 71 c-10... I have floor pans, rockers, cab corners, etc from Classic Industries, but want to buy a sheet of sheet metal to have on hand for further repairs. What gauge should I use? What is factory gauge thickness?

18ga?

Thanks
