Shane, thanks. Yeah, I had the shop built about 8 years ago when I was getting close to 50. I thought "what the hell" you can't take it with you and I don't need to leave everything to my wife and kids. I'm going to enjoy some nice things while I can.

There's nothing like working with a lift. I'm spoiled lol... I dont work on my truck at home, I take it to the shop. Although I wish I had your setup... tools and a private shop at home would be nice.

Shannon, good to see a post from you. You seem to have been gone for awhile. Did you go back to Cancun and stay for a month or more?

Color me green with envy! For me to have one in my garage, first I'd have to raise the roof about 6'! LOL
My dream would be one big pole building for all 6 of my babies. (with room for 1 or 2 more extra-hee hee)

I don't have a roof clearance problem....I just need a roof and walls
Nioce thing to have for sure. As I get closer to 50, I wonder about this laying on your back in the mud and sand thing..... Oh well. Love your shop....You wanna adopt???

bobs409, thanks I am envious of your '66 Chevelle. That was my first car. I bought a new one when I was a senior in high school. It was just a 2 dr hdtp Malibu 283 3 on the tree but it was a nice car.

I sure wish I had one of them!!! I don't have a shop but at least I don't have to lay in the mud! (Got a 24x60 concrete slab)

Boy that is sweet! I guess your days of rolling in grass and rocks underneath your rigs are over now. Sure makes you wonder how you did without it. I have been doing a frame off resto/mod in a small one car garage in my condo. Never again, its enough to want me to swear off automotive work! My wife and I are going to buy a house in a few months and tops on the list, at least my list, is a large two car garage at a minimum.
