Sockets or ground? front turn signals

one original medal socket and one replacement cant get plastic side as bright as original I have done all I know- clean medal good made ground tab fix as tight as possible? give me some suggestions. Or parts numbers for good replacements.

Do you have any pics of the plastic socket. With out knowing for sure, I'd say it's a ground problem, but I'm guessing here.

I had some issues with my signals and ended up replacing the hood harness and all issues solved. It may be worth doing, mine was hacked up a little.

I Had trouble with mine and ended up wire wheeling the outside of the sockets and bending the clips out a bit to make a better ground.

order a new wiring harness from american auto wire perfect fit and finish.

What do the inside of the housings look like? Are they both equally reflective? They'll look brighter if they've got a reflective coating like fake chrome paint or adhesive backed chrome-look foil. Here's a pic of a tail light housing sprayed with fake chrome paint.

That is a GREAT idea. I'm going to go get a can of spray!


I ended up bending those metal tabs so they made a better ground. I am going to replace the harness as soon as I can.

Acualy white will reflect/ be brighter. That is what i did to my brand new ones. Just my. 02
