If this was intended for me, that was not what I was trying to do, I was just saying. I hate to see these trucks get scrapped. Sorry if that was the way it was intended but that was not what I was trying to do.

and god knows plenty of threads have had just that happen lately from innocent posts. last i checked, scrap was $278/ton for junk cars and that makes this worth more to them than anyone else. the title was from 1988. i remember when he got it before the red/white paint. i was a junior in highschool and used to have him do work making brackets for my nova back then.

i wish. sold that in 91 (i think). that is why after my son traded the 66 lwb for the 68 camaro ss project. i was a bit upset to say the least. then when i had a chance to buy it back. i jumped on it. everyone wishes they had their first car/truck back. or they are envious of the guy they know that does still have it. this old boy was a great guy and helped out kids starting out in the hobby. he lost his eyesight and had to close the shop finally. he was happy to hear the story that the good parts were gonna be saved for other projects and the engine was for a 13y/o to put in his hotrod. i told him it will prolly get ventilated and he laffed and said "didn't we all to our first"

I just wanted to make sure he was not getting in trouble for something that I technically started that would not be fair, and I am not looking to make enemies on here. So my apologies to everyone.
