WTB two 4x4 brake lines
Want to buy two top brake lines from brake proportioned valve to frame has to be from 71/72 4x4 disk brake set-up .

I have a set that are in good shape from a 71 4x4 with discs. I'm in Northern Cal so shipping won't be too bad. Do you want the the small set from the master cylinder to proportioning vavle as well? PM an offer if interested and I can get a picture sent also if needed. Larry

if he doesnt need the short set from the master cylinder to proportioning valve i'll take them if it's for a master cylinder with the front brake pot in the back

I'm not sure if I follow what you're saying. The front brakes on mine run off the front pot and are the smaller of the two lines, with the larger line in the back running the rear brakes. The smaller line enters the proprtioning valve on top and exits the proportioning valve on the bottom, while the larger line enters on top and exits to the rear of the valve. Here's a picture that may clear up what I have. Larry

you got a pic that shows the master cylinder? im starting to think theres two different 71 master cylinders... my 2wd is like the one in the picture, but the 4x4 has a bigger pot in the back, which hooks to the front brakes, and a smaller line coming from it, while the front pot is smaller, with a larger line, and hooks to the back brakes

I wish the brake light wire was all that was unhooked. Here's a picture of the master cylinder, proportioning valve, and booster. This is the only way I've seen it.

wonder if its a 1/2 ton-3/4 ton difference? thats identical to the set up on my 71 1/2 ton 2wd, even though it has manual brakes, but ive got a different set up on my 3/4 ton 4x4....

That sounds possible. Looks like the master cylinders have different part numbers in a couple of sources I checked.
