Classic Nostalgia REAL WOOD Steering Wheel VERY SHARP!

Not sure of brand but almost 99%sure it is a grant. Link here at summit:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GRT-963/.

These Classic Nostalgia steering wheels were inspired by the musclecars of the 1960s. They feature brushed stainless steel spokes with precision-cut racing holes. REAL Walnut finished hardwood grips. Spokes are brushed stainless steel with sandwiched inlay around diameter of wheel.

13.5" diameter. This price does include horn button and adapter kit now. I found a working one to include. Pics coming Reg chrome button runs 3-10 bucks. Neither does the price listed on major parts distributor sites. $119.95 retail before shipping the adapter kits run 20 bucks...

Will take $95 shipped. That is 30% off.

Wheel sold to Midniteotto. Thanks buddy. As mentioned comes with monting kit and horn button. Will bolt right in!

It is pricey and I am typically a reasonable bargainer...Nonetheless, I really like this wheel too and at $95 shipped $15 of that is shipping. If I can not get that out of a $140 wheel then I will probably just hang onto it myself.

When you say this is a $140 wheel are you saying it's new?

No I am saying it is a $140 wheel. If it was new I would have said "it is new." See the difference? The stainless could use a slight polish and yes.,..it would be comparable to new.

How would you rate the finish on the wood? It looks like most of it is gone in the pictures. Thanks.

Yes most of it is gone. Nonetheless, a $5 can of any stain in your choice of finish color or just a polyurethane clear and this baby will def. turn some heads. It would probably be really awesome in a nice mahogany.

Re: Classic Nostalgia REAL WOOD Steering Wheel VERY SHARP!

Ok these are right out of the late 60's and early 70's that's a smoking deal I just got a used one here last year for a customers job and paid 100 bucks and had to fix some minor ugly's, brush some clear on it , and that was without the horn button. Wish this was available then.... The new ones seem to have some flex to them not made like they were back in the USA days

Hey thanks! I have been trying to confirm if it is original or older aftermarket. I was really pushing towards original but how can I confirm. Any stamps or numbers??? Thanks!

If you are wondering if it's OEM,it definitely is not. I believe it would be a Superior, but could be another aftermarket company. But,they were most common. Also,it's chromed steel, not stainless. Just helping out.

Yes that is the name I was trying to remember. I appreciate the input as well. Nonetheless, I assure you it is stainless unless the chrome is an 1/8" thick.

Just throwing this out there for future reference. Every Superior wheel I have seen had the Superior name and flying man logo stamped in the center.
