Radiator mounts

Need help with figuring out what radiator mounts will work for my 1967 chevy c10. I bought a 4 core radiator off member dano but not sure what years if 68-72 c10 and c20 will work. Also if i do i was told just to bend the bottom a bit with pliers so the bottom brackets fit. Main question as well would be how do i set the bottoms in? By tack welding them? and from your experience and a junkyard/salvage yard how do you get them off being the Originally are rivit in? Thank you.

Re: Radiator mounts

The radiator support will need to be modified. I used a cut off wheel to cut the support then bend flat. The 4 core mounts will line up, then I just used small carriage bolt to hold them in place. Kind of tricky to get nuts on because of the frame but it will work.

The year really doesn't matter you just have to get the top and bottom 4" radiator support brackets. You don't modify the brackets, like Daddy said, you modify the core support. You can find them in salvage yards that still have some older stuff, on the parts board here, or buy them new. Here is a thread that shows pictures of the difference.
