Wanted: parts for Spicer hubs
I have an incomplete set of the spicer 3/4 ton hubs for my big hub dana 44 front end (these were used from 71-74). I need to find some used parts or another complete set as part of my suburban project.

hey anyone with the Spicers are looking for parts. The only part they make anymore is the colored knob. We have two trucks with them in and have checked all the junk yards around here. My friend has a pair on his '75 that he had to have parts made. What are you missing? BTW, spring here sucks! We got about a foot or two of snow in the last couple days. I am still waiting for the grass to green up.

I need at least one handle and chrome ring and one of the outer big bases that fit between chrome ring and spindle along with a set of alllen bolts (basically almost a whole hub). I can't remember about the guts but I think I need at laest one fo the inner gears. I am hoping to find at least a set where someone broke one hub and is replacing with a newer stronger set.

I know the only part that is available brand new is the knob. Check your local junk yards they can be gold mines. Also look for early '70's Fords for the red Spicer units. I always keep my eyes open for them and they are getting rare.
