WTB speed warning rear tin with brass pin

I am looking for a speed warning rear tin with the factory fit brass pin. I will take either a tach or none tach tin. A tach tin would be nice bit will take either. Needs to be a tin with the lower case gauges. I am looking for one of these for a friend of mine so he does not keep trying to steal mine.

Thanks PT

What would a non-tach sw rear tin be worth, like if you were selling it? Mel

Re: WTB speed warning rear tin with brass pin

I saw one here on the board recently that was a tach sw tin sell for 65. I have never sold one individually so I would not know what # to put on it. If you have one give me a starting point and we can work from there.

Thanks PT

Re: WTB speed warning rear tin with brass pin

Pt, that was a steal of a deal on a tach-s/w rear tin, I would offer to match that price on a non tach piece and then go ahead and part out a complete 67 speed warning cluster now and would also part out the other complete as pictured 69 speed warning setup if enough interest is shown. 1971short4X4 is inline/up for a speed warning rear tin after you. Mel

First up is the 67 s/w setup:
#1 - Speed alert speedo head, needle adjusts smoothly and activates buzzer as it should. In great working condition, NO guessing/buy & see if it works games here. $145...
#2 - Speed warning rear tin with brass pin and speedo head grounding strap and mounting screws, will also include pictured front tin if wanted. $65...
#3 - Speed warning buzzer and uncut OE buzzer harness, this buzzer is NOT WORKING but the pictured harness worked great when other buzzer was plugged in. $45...
#4 - Speed alert adjustment cable, the "real deal" truck piece along with an OE cable nut and OE adjustment knob. $75...

Mel, I really really need the adjustment cable. I would like to get in line for that. That is the only piece I lack for a speedwarning dash. Trevor

Re: WTB speed warning rear tin with brass pin

Thanks Mel 1971short4x4 is actually who I was trying to help find the tin for so I am going to let him get it since he is who I was searching for the tin for. I am going to contact him because I am sure he is going to want you to send it to Les (70shortfleet) to punch out the tach hole for him and all of you other vultures can have at the rest of this stuff.

Thanks PT

Ok, thanks for the update. I did not realize that you were looking for 1971short4X4 as he had already pm'ed me looking for the S/W tin setup before I had decided to part out these dashes. For those listed below, after an "I'll take it" confirmation go ahead and send me your e-mail address and I will return a paypal invoice to you. Mel

Order of commitment/interest as it sits now on parting this 67 s/w setup:
#1 - Speed alert speedo head. Leroy-B1
#2 - Speed warning rear tin setup. 1971short4X4, Leroy-B1, Classic Heartbeat
#3 - Speed warning buzzer and harness. up for grabs yet
#4 - Speed alert adjustment cable setup. 71blksuper4x4

Ok you got it, this is a nice speed alert head in 100% complete working order as listed above, this 67 s/w setup just was just tested as a complete setup yesterday and everything worked as it should when another working buzzer was installed. I have sent you another invoice through paypal and combined the shipping on the s/w speedo head, harness & non-op. buzzer. Thanks again, Mel
