What make/model fuel tanks fit in the rear?

So, i removed my rear blazer tank that the PO had put in and its FULL of metal/rust/ chunks. I want to just replace it with a new unit and move on. Somebody has tried to repair it.

What make and models of trucks fuel tanks fit in the back of a 71 chevy stepside in the frame?

Never used it my self, but I like the way the 87-90 jeep wrangler tank looks in this build thread.

Re: What make/model fuel tanks fit in the rear?

It's not a truck tank, but I think I saw somewhere that someone used a camaro tank (can't remember which years)...it tucks up nicely like the custom ones guys are putting in...I'll see if I can find the thread....

EDIT: here ya go...it's even installed on a stepsidehttp://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=448431

Re: What make/model fuel tanks fit in the rear?

I saw in your build thread that you already have the filler in the back fender, so I'd go back with what's on the truck, in your build thread it looks to be a 69-72 blazer tank.
