Looking for lift options for my 10

Hey all.
I bought this truck with intentions of using it for towing and for pulling things in the fields.

My truck leans to the right,it hangs about 2 inches lower.
My dad said the leaf bushings on the front driver side will cause that, but the rear drivers side is lower too.
I think this may be why the truck likes to wander when driving and braking
not to mention when towing

I have about $550 to play with and was wondering if a solid 2-3 inch spring lift would be good. I just want the truck to sit level and be a little taller because the tcase sits a little low. it is an old canadian city work truck so there is a lot of rust.

I don't need it to be tall, it is sitting on new 32x11.50s

I need a lift that willl level her out, but also still handle well when towing/ hauling.

I had the same problem with my truck. First I replaced all of the body bushings. Some were missing completely, others were way broken down. that leveled it nicely. Then I put in a 4" spring lift. All is well now.

When I had my ol' 83 k10 I did the shackle flip in the rear (4") and a 4" spring up front (ez ride tuff country). all in all it was about $400 and an afternoon to install it. Keep in mind mine already had a 4" block lift (that was eliminated with the use of the shackle flip) in the rear and old sagged out front lift springs. My shocks were still decent. You can get really good deals on procomp/bds 2-4" lift shock kits on ebay for around $30 a corner. Your also going to want to get a raised steering arm ($50-60) if you got the 4" route. Lengthened brake lines might be needed as well.. stainless braided is the way to go.

My truck used to lean quite a bit. I thought the frame was bent from an old accident. I paid a guy $1200 to straighten the frame. When he'd finished it still leaned. Then he put a spacer of some kind under one corner of the bed -the lean was then quite grotesque. Finaly I looked at the bushings and saw they were broken down/missing completely. I removed his bed spacer and installed new bushings and all was well.

Now comes the question: Was the frame bent in the first place and what did the guy do for $1200 (actually two questions)?

I'm the guy he saw coming.

it looks like the lean could be caused from a rotted rad support or the body mount below it. if you look at the 2nd picture you can see the line between the bumper and the rad support
