Pusher fan? Who's using what?

Since I don't have enough clearance for a puller, I am forced to go with a pusher fan.

Who else is using a pusher and how do you find it? Does your motor constantly run hot?

I need a recommended fan also, so suggestions are welcome.

Re: Pusher fan? Who's using what?

Now this was 1995, but i used 2 fans for ford tempos with there thremo switch. I had the radiator shop put 2 bunges in. Went to NAPA and got 2 switches, odd thing is I got a 175* and a 195* and wired the fans backwards. It took about 2 minutes for the first fan to come on about 4 for the second. But when driving the 2nd one was never on, but you hit a stop light it took 30 secs. for it to turn on. but never got hotter than 205-210.

That was in the 1964 Pontiac in the side pic. 1967 400ci with a 4 core brass radiator.
