I tried my hand at building my dream guitar last year, and it turned out pretty well, so I figured I'd share.

I'm trying to find the pics of the build, but it's a Warmoth body and neck, with paint from this place called the guitar ReRanch. I painted it with nitrocellulose paint and clearcoat in a color called Daphne blue. This being a GM site, people should know this color came on the 1958 Cadillac series 62

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!

Nice! I have a Warmoth Tele I just bought from a guy that I've jammed with before, really happy with it. What kind of neck (wood-wise) do you have on it?

I actually used Pau Ferro for the fingerboard and flamed maple for the headstock and neck. I had them put their vintage finish on it...makes the flaming stand out way more. I ordered the biggest neck that Warmoth makes, but with an average nut width.

Plays GREAT! I was really worried about how the neck was going to hold up, but I just got it readjusted and it seems to be settling in nicely. I'll try to get some sound clips up soon, because I just picked up a Fender Tone-master amp

Nice! Warmoth makes great parts .. I have a Warmoth Strat done up like Van Halen's first Black & White guitar and I love how it plays.
