helpout with staggered tire sizes

Hello brothers,
I'm looking for some recommendations on what tire size to put on my truck. I have 2.5 drop spindles and 5 inch drop coils with factory ralley 15x8 wheels wrapped in bfg radial ta's. Pictures will help alot!!! Thanks for everyones help.

I am thinking 245/60r15 OR 255/60r15 in the front and 275/60r15 on the rear.

Re: helpout with staggered tire sizes

my 2 cents only, but I think with only a 2.5" drop, a 245 or 255 60 series will not look like it fills the front wheelwell. (i.e. the pics above look good, but note they both have a 3-3.5 drop also)

275/60/15 is great in the back, but I'd pick a 70 series for the front that has approximately the same tire diameter as the 275/60 - that way, wheelwells appear equally filled. So, am just spitballing here, but that would be roughly a 225 or 235/70/15 I believe.

Re: helpout with staggered tire sizes

The pics are my stock height truck with 255/70R15 Cooper Cobras on 15 x 8 rallys all the way around. My tires are 29.04 inches high and there is still room above tire so you wanting to drop the front 2.5 and the rear 5 would fill in your wheel wells nicely. The 275/60R15's are populare on our trucks but I like a taller sidewall ( I feel the truck rides better) and that is why I prefer the 70 series tires. I think the he 235/70R15's would work great with the drop yiou are planning and that size tire is getting hard to find but you can still get BFGoodrich T/A's at reasonable prices in that size.

Just for info:

255/70R15 = 29.04 inches high

275/60R15 = 27.98 inches high

255/60R15 = 27.02 inches high

235/70R15 = 27.94 inches high
