new guy on block...have 48 gmc 1/2ton...want to go from 6lug to 5lug...some one says change the hubs...if so, where to get them..thanks..pete

Can't help you regarding the lugs as mine's a 3/4 ton 8-lugger. What I can do is welcome you though!

cpp has a disc brake conversion kit that uses the original spindles,

thats what i am looking for...thanks for the info...i will be asking more questions down the road, once i get my truck out of storage...this is my first rebuild...doing everything on my own...thanks.pete
