2nd Track Outing

Link to my first time out:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=490917

Best time IIRC was about 11.2 @ 122.

This weekend was the LS Truck Shootout in San Antonio, Texas.

Here are my runs from yesterday:
http://youtu.be/yjM3WCSHtuI

Best run was a 10.3 @ 139.79. Made about 12 passes, beating it like it owed me money. Had two 140.x mph runs, but just could not get the traction dialed in. Lifted on every pass.

It was not without consequence, had to push it on the trailer.

Traction killed you out of hole. Once you can dial it in, it should run even better. Nice runs! How much horsepower do you have?

Your truck runs great! What was that black thing flappin' in the breeze, your gas cap?

Re: 2nd Track Outing

Looking very nice on track. A little more traction, and it will really fly. I want turbos so bad. A pair of rear mounts in the front of the bed would work real nice for mine!

I have thought about that too.. Perfect spot for them and a nice big intercooler.

Re: 2nd Track Outing

Thanks everyone. Yes, that rag is the "gas cap".

As far as power, I have no idea. Never been on a dyno.
