Huh? Not to be rude but is this a custom gauge or a custom dash?

Re: wooo hoooo.... the count down... (VHX)

I can't get a good picture of these...

but after driving around with them for a week or so, I say... there very cool..
easy to program, easy to read (day or night) the only problem I'm having is with my gas tank read out, but I'm pretty sure it's the sender not the gauges..

Looks real cool, try natural light and hold your finger over the flash if you cant turn it off. I have to do that sometimes to get a good pic.

as far as my install, I had my audio guy for a alarm and had him install them at the same time.. too many wires for me....

Looks good.

Still wish to know...
Was the gauge panel you added on here a direct "bolt in" to the rear dash panel assembly?

And...
on the wiring, does this gauge system directly plug into the GM wire harness;
or is there more to it ?

If maybe your alarm guy could assist in his install for you here in this thread, would be nice to listen to his thoughts regarding this install.

Re: wooo hoooo.... the count down... (VHX)

I have one of these waiting to be installed. Glad to hear they are easy to program.

You have to wire in your harness into a "brain" and then there is a single wire that looks like a telephone cable that plugs into the bezel. You also have to replace your sensors such as oil pressure, water temp, ect. They all come with the kit though.
