dumb pinion shim question
sorry for the stupid question, but im putting diy4x's e-z blocks (the ones that bolt to the spring pack) for the front. do i put the pinion angle shims between the ez inch and the sping? or between the perch and the ez inch? basically all i want to know is should i put the shim above or below the ez inch? thanks.

I would put it between the ez inch and the spring perch.
This way the center bolt will tighten up strait.

Yes on the perch BUTTT if they are aluminum throw them away and get STEEL ones. Especialy for the front. Alum will crack, wiggle out = loose spingpacks up front = scary ride/crash.
I had this happen, lucky for me it was the rear, turned my spingperches into rounded off bent arches but I didn't crash. .025c
