Re: engine id help
350 block (no way to tell if it's a 2 or 4 bolt block without pulling the pan), '71 - '72 75cc chamber heads. If the block is also a '71 - '72 casting, it should be a good one. If it's a 4-bolt block, check the 3 center caps, if they have "2482" cast into them, they're nodular, stronger than plain cast iron. Also, check for 010 020 under the timing cover. If you have 'em all, you have the strongest stock block GM built.

Re: engine id help
You need to post a bit more information - such as:
Stock pistons? Stock rotating assembly How many miles on the engine? Previously rebuilt? What was replaced or upgraded? Cylinder head combustion chamber? 75cc smog heads Transmission type (manual/automatic) Rear end gears and tires diameter vehicle type, weight Intended usage. Your expectations from this engine. //RF

Re: engine id help
For a near stock engine I would use Sealed power CS-1014R and HT817 lifters. This a good RV style cam shaft and work well with stock to slightly modified engines. It is also inexpensive (Northern auto parts)
