question to the guys with lokars

hey guys, today me and my dad put my shifter in the truck, its a done deal but there is this aluminum plug with a weird little tit on the end of the threads, wtf is this for? we are stumped and it doesnt appear to be in the instructions anywhere, thanks guys

it's been awhile but i believe that the piece you're talking about is use to set up the neutral safety switch and i think it is mentioned in the instruction manual

hmmm, its a bog bolt type thing, you might be right about the safety switch but it isnt anywhere in the instructions
