Thats awesome, beautiful little girl. I love the missing teeth. My little man is four now, looking forward to those kind of things. You deserve to be proud.

Re: Proud dad :)
Kudos to dad and daughter, she didn't get that way all by herself, but it took a lot of character on her part as well.
Bring 'er on down to Texas and we'll find a good, straight, rust free squarebody project for her. You OWE her that!!! |

Re: Proud dad :)
Wow, not only a great kid but she has impeccable taste as well!
My current project is a '97 crewcab dually 4x4. I have no use for one, but they've been my favorite kind of trucks for a long time. It's one of those things that if you have to explain it to someone, they just don't get it. |

Re: Proud dad :)
Mine will be lowered 3/4 with a 489 stroker, 4L80E and BW4401 transfer case. I'm converting to the newer PCM so I can dyno tune it. I've done some major mods to the intake to help with breathing. I'm a firm believer that you can get better mileage with the correct engine in a heavy truck than with an underpowered mill that struggles.
Bottom line is we're probably in the same camp. I don't give a damn about trouble parking the land barge or 12mpg. It's what I want, it suits me and it's what I'll drive. BTW, also building a late 90's S-10 with a 4-banger and stick for mileage LOL. Kudos again, both of my sons received similar awards when they were in elementary school. A kid that inherently knows that doing your best at everything you do is a much better reward than cash or "things" is a true blessing. Recognition of this really reinforces this attribute, glad to see you have your daughter in a school that knows this. |
