Few questions about body gaps and ford 8.8 Pictures

I finally have the 54 body halfway mounted on the s10 frame.. But was looking for some opinions. The body gap between my cab and bed and running board and front fender look to big... I was wondering if anyone knows the stock dimensions here.. My wheels look centered in fenders but im leaning on moving the cab back instead of the bed forward.. ALso for anyone interested here is a ford explorer 8.8 mounted on an s10 frame with stock cherokee wheels (came off my cherokee only using untill i figure out wheel and tire combo). The wheels are 15x7 with 5.25 BS and tires are 225/75/15 just for reference.... Heres some pics
