82 SWB 350 w/headers
I'm looking to buy and install headers on my 82 C10, and I have read on here before which headers are the preferred (if you will). Any advice? I've seen hedman and hooker but not sure which way to go? Any and all advice excepted.

Re: 82 SWB 350 w/headers
IMO purchase GOOD name brand headers that are ceramic coated , anything else will rust out and look like crap in a short time.
I run shorty's on my trucks, may not be the best for "All Out" performance but I like em. Desert |

Re: 82 SWB 350 w/headers
When the SBC was in my '87, I bought Hedman Elite coated headers. Not only were they a stronger thicker header, they for some reason were cheaper too. The fit and quality was pretty good. The only problem I ran into was, that I had to slightly clearence the frame on the drivers side at the bottom. I also was running 1/3/4" primary tubes too. If your truck is lowered, you may want to go a different route, depending how low it is. The guys on here have said that Chevelle headers fit and have good ground clearence.

I've always been a fan of Doug Thorley's myself.... I think the quality is top notch.
