Look what followed us home from Tennessee.

First off, I gotta say we love getting out and hunting these old trucks, esp in Tennessee. Everyone down there is great. We have been working this deal for over a year and it finally came together. True time capsule truck. hasn't been licensed since 2001. Truck is complete, unmolested and a true survivor truck. My son and I were talking about cutting it down and making a short bed but, after looking at it we decided that was just not right. We have a young man who really wants one of these and his father is looking for a good father-son project. They are coming over shortly to check it out. I am 50 and my son is 28. It is amazing how we could look at this and both have the same idea for it, let it be.. Sorry for the long rant, this has just been a really fun adventure for my son and I.

Nice!

Are those soda/ beer can pull tabs in the ash tray? And why o why did someone spray paint a white circle on the fender?

Yes, they are beer tab pulls. That is where we found the keys. The custom graphics were applied by some local delenquints near the owners home. He was much more forgiving that we would have been. The potential new owners are on the way over and they are excited to see it.

nice! really like white over ochre. Great time capsule too. Judging by the pull tabs, you're lucky this one survived in one piece! What are your plans?
Edit: Oops! I see you plan to sell it. Might be a good father son project for the two of you!

Re: Look what followed us home from Tennessee.

Just delivered it to the new owners. Father and 15 year old son. They were excited to get it and we were just as proud for them to have it. They are locals and also customers at the parts store where i work so i can see how it progresses. Everyone is happy in this deal. That is the way it is supposed to be.

We love coming over to your state hunting trucks. We always meet some really great people, eat like pigs and you all make the best sweet tea.
