LED signal lights
I saw somewhere an aftermarket direct replacement signal light for the 60-61 hood that converts them to LED signal lights and I can't find where it was.
I am putting a 61 hood on my 64 and want to upgrade to brighter/better led signal lights. Anybody know where they can be purchased? |

Re: LED signal lights
Sick5 I haven't received my new lens yet, but will add a picture later ofwhat I have so far. Was really simple to do,using a trailer light kit from the local farm store. I have about $30 in both(not counting new lenses)

Re: LED signal lights
Basically, I took trailer lights(an Optronics trailer kit) removed the red lens and trimmed the housing to fit inside the GMC bezel. A little Right Stuff sealer to hold in place, after trimming the back for the plug in. A side note here, you cannot do this if you are switching to a clear lens,as the LED's are also red. However we happened to like the dark orange color when used under the stock lens. By using the trailer lights, I have both park and turn signals. it's something different. And yes all I had for a test lens was the one broken one I have.
