Shorty headers

So im in need of a good set of shorty headers that fit great for the 66. Ive been running a set of old Mr. Gasket full lengths... I picked up a set of the Speedway block huggers but I dont think these things will work since the come straight down on the engine crossmember. What did some of you guys use? Pics would be great!!

Re: Shorty headers

I have a set of block huggers on my 305. The do come down, but go to a quick 90* to the back. I dont have any pics handy, but will try and take some later.

Re: Shorty headers

I have a set of Patriot short tube headers, BUT I the engine relocated forward 1 1/4" and up 1 1/2" from the stock location due the front crossmember I made and the rack and pinion. I also have front style motor mounts. I have heard that some of the better fitting headers are the mid length for like an S-10 V-8 swap or even for an Astro Van with the V-8. never used them, but have heard they fit ok. Doesn't seem to be too many application specific short or mid length headers for these trucks. i reverse engineered mine-bought headers and made mounts around them.
