oil pressure shows 60
When I start up my 85 silvo with a 305 up, the gauge goes up to 60 & stays there. Should I get a new sender?

Re: oil pressure shows 60
check all your connections first, especially where the gauge circuit board meets the oil pressure gauge.

Re: oil pressure shows 60
I've got a similar issue... Mine is up in the high 40 area under hot idle conditions and under cold conditions or acceleration when hot, the gauge is pegged on the high side. I'm guessing it's a gauge or sender issue... Bu if not I'll let you guys know when it blows!
