New Purchase, new member..Hello!
Hello everyone,
My name is Jason and I just purchased a 63' 4x4 and discovered your website. What a great source of information. I just wanted to introduce myself and share my purchase with all of you. It is a 63' with all the running gear from a 75' chevy 4x4 1/2 ton so it has the 350cu with the 350 AT, transfer case and axels, front disk brakes rear drum, Warn hubs, Rancho shocks, Edelbrock carb, Manual shift kit and torque converter lock up. Has some rust.....$800!! http://s1229.photobucket.com/albums/ee473/abx131/ |

Re: New Purchase, new member..Hello!
Jason in Seattle....
After further review....I see you qualify for one of my favorite "Red Neck" threads....Show us your RACKS......er.................... GUN RACKS I mean..... Ya baby.... And yers seems to be made out of some rocket ship alloy, too. We also saw that auxiliary fuel tank in the back.... There should be a whole bunch of fun locked up in that '63....jes waitin' fer you to enjoy it. Send us some pictures as you tear into that rig.....and tell us all about it. It makes us feel better about all of our own truck "woes".... Is that even a real word...? Whatever.

Re: New Purchase, new member..Hello!
I just ordered a new Master cylinder and booster for it. It had no brakes and was told tthese needed to be replaced immediately. As for getting her home I drove it with the seller towed behind me in his truck in neutral. When I needed to brake, he braked and slowed me down....one scary ride!
