250, 292 TBI information
I have seen information about TBI conversion for 250, 292. I thought it was in the FAQ section but can not find. The article included the years to rob the TBI from. Can anybody help me?

Re: 250, 292 TBI information
I remember seeing the thread.IIRC correctly it was an early S10 they robbed parts from but I could be hullucinating.Should really improve driveabiity.
BTW I think you'll want one from a 4.3 truck.Seems like the CI is close enough for the computer to work without reprograming.

Re: 250, 292 TBI information
I'm in the middle of putting the TBI back on my 250 in my 63 Chevy II. I am using a 4.3 throttle body and MegaSquirt 2.0 computer and relay box.
Hopefully get her running decent this week and keep tweaking it as necessary.

Re: 250, 292 TBI information
Also saw a magize that said the General had a 250 turbo in brazil and that there are some companies here that sell the turbo manifolds. A tubo TBI injected 292 would be awesome . My little wheels are turning now....
