bagged 84 c10 single cab swb

I figured since it was time for a small update on the truck so ill put the thread in the right section.

1984 chevrolet c10 w/350 small block:

SUSPENSION:
bagged with a 2 link rear (definitely getting changed)
chrome lower air ride tech arms up front and stock uppers
firestone bags all the way around
3/8" lines
viair 380 (need another or a bigger one)
chassis tech polished 5 gallon tank in bed
z'd frame
belltech 2" drop spindles

DRIVETRAIN:
350 4 bolt main bored .030 over
289 cam (not sure on brand the motor was in the truck when i got it)
eldebrock 450cfm carb
holly roller rockers ( i think thats what they are)
turbo 400 tranny
3200 stall
stock rear

INTERIOR:
custom rolled sheet metal dash with autometer gauges and leather top
custom center console
Alpine IVA-W505 6.5" in dash screen
kicker 5.25's in both doors
4 kicker cvr 8's behind the seat
kicker 200.4 for highs, kicker 750/1 for subs
all interior minus carpet right now until i get all my wiring situated for everything
billet specialties leather wrapped billet wheel

EXTERIOR:
shaved tailgate with SIR MICHAELS skin
shaved bed pockets
no molding on truck
some ugly wheels (boss 338's are coming)
phantom billet grill across front
molded roll pan
shaved drip edges ( i believe they were atleast, seems like i thought 84's had them on there)

I think thats about it on that truck. Im sure im missing a few thins but on to the pics:

interior before i did the console:

after the console:

door speakers:

the truck:

thinking of changing the taillights out to the new stock lenses I have for it

best motor shot I have:

sound clip of it idling:

closers pics of the radio in it:

Its a little crooked but its getting redone when my fabric comes in:

after I cut out the hole:

with cage:

tv in:

finally got the wheels in. They are gray centered boss 338's, 20x8.5 with 5.25" backspacing. I have LD (light duty) rotors so they fit just fine on the front which i was relieved to find out.

uglyness that was on it (hope i can dump these off for dirt cheap)

now im off to the wheel shop this morning to have the tires swapped. Ill post finished pics when I get back!

Re: bagged 84 c10 single cab swb

Finally got them all on and such and love them but I think the 20x10's may be in my future for the rear. The front now with the different offset than what was on it is nice cause the tires and wheels sit straight up and down now.

also for anyone wondering about if the center caps work with the dust caps here is my answer. YES they do work, they snapped in no problem and no hitting anything. I did not have to dent in my dust caps to get them to fit. Ill get better pics once it stops raining and I can get it out the garage but for now those will have to do.

First off those 338's look awesome!!!!
secondly that cam lope is sexy
and lastly how do you like that small carb? did you run that to offset the size of the cam for street use?

Re: bagged 84 c10 single cab swb

Thanks For all the compliments. I didn't even realize this thread was being looked at.

As far as the carb, it's ok but not the best. It was on the truck when I got it.

I do have pics of the back with the wheels on. If you want to shoot me an email I can send them like that but I can't post them till after 5 today.

The wheels are up for grabs for $200 + shipping if not local. If they don't sell I'll put them up

Guess I need to pay more attention lol. I did have some repair to do it this weekend. My gauge line was melted by my exhaust and my radiator blew a hole in itself but it's all fixed now and cooking excellent

Here is the pics of the rear. Dont mind the cover. I have a 55 gallon red drum that is getting cut in 1/2 then being used as the tub.

Re: bagged 84 c10 single cab swb

The wheels really look good on your truck. Looks like your going to have to do some trimming in the rear for the 20x10's. Nice job man.

Re: bagged 84 c10 single cab swb

Thanks everyone again. I really do appreciate the comments. The console is coming out though and im putting a flush one that tucks up under the dash and will hold everything. That way the 3rd person can ride and have room with no problem. Also here are some more pics of it outside:

Re: bagged 84 c10 single cab swb

hey i forgot to ask....how far thru the frame does your axle come thru your step notch?
how many inches. that would help me a lot. your truck sits perfect

Re: bagged 84 c10 single cab swb

I only have about 2" of clearance between the top of my notch and my axle. I can just about air it all the way out in the back and ride, it rides fine on very low pressure. The 22's I was looking at would have made me tuck all the way up to the top of the notch
