Hi. I removed a manifold steel gasket, the flat side was touching the intake manifold, with the perferated side touching the block. ? was it installed correctly. My friend say's it was installed wrong. I now turn to the members seeking there opinions. Thanks

it will only install one way, the holes and dowels prevent it from being installed any other way. I just did mine a week ago, the directions even said this.

Sigshooter, Thanks and you are correct, it only goe's 1 way. The job is now done and I'm onto the next project, which is to clear up the white smoke from my exhaust. Thanks again
