Just bought my Dream Truck 66 C10

Hey Guys,

I am new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself and show off my new project. Its a 66 C10 Custom on a 85 3/4 ton frame. 396 BBC, TH350, NP205, 14BFF and dana 44 up front. Looking to get this bad boy up and running. Looking forward to talking with some of you and sharing this build with you.

Brent

Welcome to the forum Brent

Looks like a decent truck. What all needs to be done to get it on the road?

Welcome.

Yes, you need a taller garage door.
And get some cardboard under that motor! Now!

It needs a radiator which I just ordered a 3 core from eBay with efan. Gotta get a new starter, drain old gas, plugs, wires, etc...

I pulled the valve cover and changed oil. Valvetrain looks great and has roller rockers and huge valve springs. Hopefully everything else works fine and I will have it going in a couple weeks!

Thumbs up Re: Just bought my Dream Truck 66 C10

You're pretty close to me. Lots of places in Kansas City to buy parts for these old trucks. Sounds like you're excited about the new purchase! Welcome aboard!

Welcome from Arizona. I like seeing anything 4x4, original or converted. Looks like a great start for a tough looking truck.
