Pinion angle ??

Ok guys i need some info on pinion angle.

I done the rear flip on my 1 ton the poorboy way. I bought a pair of saddles and redrilled them to keep the driveshaft in the same location.
The question is, i have never messed with pinion angle on a 2 piece shaft before. When i set it with the pinion down 2 degrees it sure looks like down alot.
Where should i measure the angles at?
Front of the rear shaft at the splines and on the pinion?
Thanks
