suburban drivers seat ?
Took the drivers seat out of the suburban today and noticed that there was no rod going from the drivers side seat adjustment lever to the far side of the seat to lock and unlock the other side of the seat. Is this correct, because it's not as long as a pickup seat it doesn't need to lock or unlock or am I missing something.

Re: suburban drivers seat ?
There should be a rod from the left side slider to the right side slider.

Re: suburban drivers seat ?
Are you sure? Do you have a Suburban to look at. Mine has no rod and no sign of any kind of release mechanism on the right side.

Re: suburban drivers seat ?
I agree with rossboss. My 60 suburban's adjustment latch is only on the driver's side. The other slider is free floating without any notches for a latch.
