Th350 problem

So I put a b&m shiftkit in my th350 tranny this weekend, shifts nice and firm in first and second ,but it won't shift into third!! What couldve I done wrong? I have enough tranny fluid , if shifts better than before and the tranny shifted into all gears before I installed the shiftkit

Maybe a checkball in the valve body? That would be my only guess right off hand

Long shot - I had a th400 in an 89 diesel. When I lost vacuum to the modulator it would not shift past second. Maybe you have a modulator issue?

im pretty sure the checkball is in the right place. but i could be wrong. i was thinkinh maybe the vacuum module also . gotta get under there and check it out
