bumper ????????
need to know if the bumper braces are the same on stepside and a fleetside. i just got a 1984 stepside without a rear bumper and the braces. so i need them. thanks for any info on this . buddy

It depends on the type of bumper you are going to put on. If its a stepside sport bumper they are different.

The 73-87 STEPSIDE trucks used the same rear sport bumper as the 67-72 trucks.
But the brackets are specific to the 73-87 trucks. 67-72 brackets in the back,... 73-87 brackest in the front of this pic.
