i love my powder coater!

Been scrounging for some 71+ K10 wheels for some time, finally found 5 to make a set, so sent em off (along with my 6 lug rallies) to get em pc'ed. Now I can switch over to disks and not change the look of the truck! (currently have stock non-disk steelies on it). A good powder coater is a good friend to have (Brandon at Pacific Coast Powder Coating). And I feel for you eat coasters - when I lived out there I paid $110 per wheel to get white pc on my stock steelies - for these that I just did, it was only $50 per wheel. (the krinkly look around the edge is just plastic protection).

Re: i love my powder coater!

Nice work! I agree with the importance of having someone you can depend on. I had all my early stuff done in Idaho with one outfit that did excellent work. The wheels were sandblasted, then heavily coated front, back, and all around where the tire goes. When I moved to Spokane I had a different outfit do another set of wheels. They did the fronts up to standard, the backs got a very thin coat, the tire area got nothing at all. I never made that mistake again.

Sweet! These wheels look great!

I have a good powdercoater here too, and it certainly makes things nice! I've given him ALOT of business lately, and its all turned out really nice.
