nos 73-87 door handles on e-bay
hard to find nos door handels in the gm boxes. the guy has a buy now price for $229.00. i thought this was a steal if anyone was looking for a new set. i dont know how to post a link. i found it under 73-87 chevy truck heading.

Why almost 300 for an original set? You would think a Plymouth Cuda would have nos handles worth that much.

i thought it was a good deal for a pair of nos parts that havnt been made for many years. alot of guys dont mind paying this price for quality. i think guys dont mind paying double or triple the price for fit and finish, example an aftermarket door compared to an nos factory door. only reason i posted, alot of members look for theses when doing a restoration.

Well certainly an aftermarket door and an original are very different in quality. But a door handle? A good rechrome of the original would be just as good I'm sure? And cheaper

kinda rich blooded for door handels in my mind. i can re-chrome for $25 at my buddys plating shop.

Sems like a fair price to me....NOS parts are getting harder and harder to find. I got my NOS set off GM Parts Direct a couple years ago for $65 each...they are no longer available.
