I cant figure out what colour i should paint my 1977 GMC high sierra. If anyone has ideas it will help alot.

Welcome to the forum 77_GMC_highsierra_15. It might help us if we knew what your doing Are you doing a color change? What color is the interior? Details and pics please.

The interior is red and the exterior used to be flat black till i sanded it down. I was sort of thinking of 2 toned shiney black and white.

I'm a fan of black. My '87 also has red interior. I'm either going to go with black, maroon or gray.

Are you planning on painting the interior metal?...if not repaint it the same.

Also...does yours have the full molding upper and lower on sides or just the upper?

If just the upper then do a solid color

I really love your truck. It looks so clean and nice, like it just rolled off the showroom floor. The black exterior really makes the red interior pop!

ya that little 78 is NICE! ...black exterior red interior, that was the thing to have back in the days..(maybe the 60's) but i love that combo myself...all that truck needs is...... a mild drop,and some 8'' corvette rallys!!!

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but your truck is insanely cool. The interior colors are so crisp and the gauges meet the standard too, great attention to detail.

To the OP, with the red interior I don't see how you can go wrong with black or two-tone red/white - both are great classic looks.
