Re: 82 seat belts in a 78?

i think your 78 has the anchor point for the shoulder strap in the same place as later years. The roller unit which houses the belt should be on the floor in that year rather than in behind the door striker. My 76 has the roller unit in this area and a donor 78 I had was mounted on the floor. I think that is what you need to look at. I bought new belts from LMC so I can't help with the connection comment.

Re: 82 seat belts in a 78?

Thanks cory and VT

Yes, I guess i should have clarified that the retractor that mounts on the floor is the item that I didn't know if it would mount the same.

I guess I just need to find a 78 and get a look at it.

Thanks
