remote on/off switch mod
Since the battery on my '73 has been relocated to under the bed (CPP stainless steel drop down battery box), I am required to have a battery disconnect switch installed if I want to take the truck to the track (which I will be doing). I decided to locate it behind the license plate, keeping my truck clean of eyesores while being completely legal....just flip it up when I take it to the track.
I picked up a flip-down license plate bracket from board member thelonerife (GREAT guy to deal with BTW), and modified the license plate box as you can see. It is currently installed on my '75 for mock up purposes, I will be blowing it apart soon for paint and detailing, then it will find its way on my 73 (since the one on it is powdercoated and I didn't want to mess with it..I'll just switch them around)
