85 blazer general questions

So I have posted on here several times and have got allot of info and advice, I had a 77 c10 but did get rid of it recently in trade for a 85 blazer that has had allot of work done to it. Here are the specs I was told.

383 stoker, 202 heads, big cam, headers, exhaust...and done other stuff I am more than likely forgetting :/
My main question is if it is bad to let it idle for extended periods of time, I get to work very early and like to chill with the heater on! Any info you guys have would be awesome! Also any thing I should watch for with this type of setup?
Thanks
