Original paint detail questions
A few questions about original paint:
1. What was the underside of the hood painted? Body color or satin black? 2. What color should the heater delete covers be? 3. The dash should be flat or satin, but what is the steering wheel and column? Is it back to gloss? |

Re: Original paint detail questions
That's what have found. The dash is charcoal with some slver (not fawn) trim and the steering wheel is charcoal.
I never could find if the steering wheel and column had a satin finish or gloss. Looks like I'll go with satin. Thanks |

I'm pretty sure there's a whole thread on this topic.

Re: Original paint detail questions
I'd do the steering wheel gloss, because satin paint will "gain" gloss as it's handled- especially the wheel since it's constantly being handled.
