Custom ignition setup

Has anyone ever set up a custom set of switches to do what the normal ignition does? For example, have a series of 2-4 switches to turn on sort of the way some race cars do and then a momentary switch for engaging the starter.

Not sold that I want to do this, but trying to mull over what wires would need to be connected to get the desired effect.

I have been playing with the ignition switch lately and know there are 6 connections that are on the back of there.

Thanks in advance! You guys have helped in so many ways! I'll throw some pics up soon of what I have done up till now on the learning truck
