You are missin the center of the horn ring- type in 1958 chevy steering wheel on an image search and it will come up. Its the custom wheel. (Custom Cab)
As for the AC I think they are called crotch coolers- VERY COOL.

you happy with the truck? It has TONS of potential

Go to the parts section, look for Big Barn Find in Alabama and get a hold of GMC Nut. He has a steering wheel complete for a 65 thats in great shape!

congrats on the new truck - I was lookin at that one when it was for sale, may have bought if I didn't already have my own little ongoing project. Really like the color combo, stance, wheel/tire and the old add-on ac. Cool truck!

GMC Nut has an auto colum that you might want as well if you plan on getting rid of the manual column shift.

tinpony59,
Now it all makes since, it's a Texas truck. A Seattle truck with A/C, I was wondering why anyone would install A/C in a Truck from your area. Something that might get used twice a year if you're lucky. I was stationed in Bumertown for a few years. Beautiful country up there. A great place to live. I sure enjoyed it. Fantastic find on your truck too! Congrats.
