accumulator ID help

Im in the process of replacing all the a/c stuff in my 79. I bought a a/c accumulator off a guy on ebay. He said it was for 73-87 trucks. Well, it dosent work in my truck. The original unit has a fitting coming out the bottem, two on top on and one the side, and two electrical connections on the side. The new one has no electrical connections and 4 fittings on top. Does the new one I have sound like maybe a 81-87 unit, or is it just really the wrong one? Either way I have to buy another one
