wheelbase/bed question
My 66 GMC truck has the 133" wheelbase and has a 9' step side bed. Will any of the shorter beds (not a shortbed, but a shorter bed than 9') fit on my frame without modifications?
Just based on the VIN page on Jolly's forum it looks like the answer is no, but... |

correct, no other bed will fit without modification. your wheelbase is 5" longer than a longbed so wheel placement would be off. The least modification for a shorter truck would be to take X-amount off the back of your 9' bed, and the same X-amount off the back of your frame, this would not require you to change your wheelbase.
