Bucket Seats for a 68 C10
I have a 1968 Chevy C10 SWB and I'm thinking about replacing the bench seat for buckets or a semi bench seat with a center fold down. Any suggestions would be helpful. Please give me locations to looks, specifics on what seats you've used in your truck or what did or didn't work for you.
Thanks! Posted via Mobile Device |

See my thread. It has pictures and links to what seats I used along with the console.

Look for a set of factory buddy-buckets. Any pics of your truck?

Re: Bucket Seats for a 68 C10
I intend on using the front seats out of a chevy Tahoe (2003--2006) These seats have the built in seat belts and the seat back I would describe as medium height. I dont have pics---but I have seen the installation, it is nice and fairly simple. Seats can be found in fabric or leather "at fine salvage yards near you"

Re: Bucket Seats for a 68 C10
If you look at the door panel on the passenger side you can see the seat bottoms slant to the rear a good bit. I wonder what it would take to remove all that plastic on the back of the center seat back so when up it would go back with the other seats all the way and just not be so bulky. I just don't care for the look of all that plastic. Other than that, not bad seats considering what it takes to get nice '68 buckets. My question is,do those seat bolt to original mounting points?
