A little more progress on the cab
Here is a shot of the firewall progression. The channel has been filled and I cut the "hump" out where the e-brake use to connect. As you can see I have more welding and grinding to go.

doors on
I bought a set of doors from fine69 this weekend. I was able to get them hung, but I need to do a lot of adjustment to get them in the right spot. I want them on to finish up the cab corners and rockers.

I like the shaved parking brake HUMP it makes the shave look more complete.

I didn't know there was that much diff between '67 and later firewalls. I have converted my '67 to foot park brake, but didn't realize there was that hump. This pic was before I installed the foot park brake.

Yeah, Mario you were the one that got me thinking about removing that hump to begin with after you saw the firewall in another post. I'm glad I did it now.

LOL! My wife is getting a yard sale ready to go for this coming weekend. My garage is a mess!! I was told I had to weld and grind at the end of the driveway.
