Paint job/grille...need opinions!!

Hey yall!
I need some opinions. I'm gonna be painting my truck this summer, and I've come up with 3 different designs that I really like. Unfortunately, I cant decide which one to go with! I'd like some opinions from all you other truck nuts out there, which one do yall like best?
Also, I think if I do paint it like the 3rd picture (with the racing stripes) I'm gonna go with a stock chevy grille (since I already have one, and I think it looks better with that paint scheme than an aftermarket chrome one would)...but I cant decide if I should get it chromed to match the grille surround, or paint it black, leaving just the green bowtie floating in the middle of the grille...
Help me out guys!
Thanks!

Here are the 3 drawings I did for reference...and if anybody's got other good ideas, feel free to throw em out there!

Re: Paint job/grille...need opinions!!

I wouild lean towards 1 and 2. Mine has a black pinstripe separating the charcoal and silver and turns into a mild flame right at the start of the back tire. The racing stripe on 3 is really cool look also. And here is a pic from the roadster show this weekend with a wild flame color separation if you deep pockets haha.

Re: Paint job/grille...need opinions!!

I really like the 3rd one the best, but I don't completely like how the racing stripes converge to a solid stripe at the front.
What if you did the 3rd design minus the racing stripes, but painted the sides of the hood's cowl that green?

It's your truck so you should do what you feel is your favorite. Props on the drawing skills.

Thanks, I try =) That's not a bad idea, in fact if I painted the sides of the cowl down the length of the hood, till it comes to a point, it would kinda match the stripes down the side of the truck...I'll have to think on that, thanks for the idea!

Re: Paint job/grille...need opinions!!

New pic of black stock grill looks good... unless you do the rad support in black. The lighter shade on the support ( as in the pic ) makes the black grill jump out and look pretty tough. But a black support, with a chrome stock grill,.... oh yea......

I'm loving the new design. Take that and run. That's going to be a tough looking truck!

Re: Paint job/grille...need opinions!!

Man yall are awesome! I'm definitely leaning heavily towards #3 with the blacked out grille, I think that look kinda suits me more than the other ones...but something just doesnt seem quite right about the racing stripes on the hood, and I cant figure out what I need to change! Maxxxy kinda got me thinkin with his comment a few posts back...yall got any ideas on what I could do different? I wanna try and make the hood stripes flow a little better with the side stripes, ya know?

Re: Paint job/grille...need opinions!!

Try the hood stripes without them running off of the end of the hood or filler panel.

Re: Paint job/grille...need opinions!!

I just think those particular hood stripes take away from the side stripes with the way they come together to a solid stripe. I think the sides of the cowl scoop would fit the theme better.

Nice work dude, that's sorta what I'm workin on, but I was thinking more like green up just the inner sides of the scoops, and then across the back of the scoops by the windshield...basically the exact same thing as the side stripes, just on the hood, ya know? And you're right on with the silver pinstriping, I was planning on doing that, just forgot to color it in on the drawing =P

Something like this, just imagine a narrow black fill up the very center of the hood between the green on the inner sides of the scoops...
